Hair Oasis have been nominated as Finalists in the ghd Expert Awards 08 in two categories; Classic Styling Award and Catwalk Styling Award. The Finals are being held at Cafe Royale in London on the 17th March.

The Fellowship for British Hairdressings PROJECTX is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Style Director Michael Dickinson has been chosen to have one of the coveted places following an interview that took with a panel of judges drawn from throughout the hairdressing industry on Monday 19th November at the Wella Studio - London.

Participants must have a minimum of five years hairdressing experience (including training), although fully trained - have a yearn to learn and experience more and Michael, accompanied by his fantastic mood board - certainly fitted the bill!

Michael comments: "Although I was considered a mature student, I have only actually been hairdressing for 5 years. PROJECTX is an opportunity I didn't want to miss out on! It's a year long course, throughout which I will be constantly assessed on presentation and course work".

The course facilitators will be looking out for (and giving marks) based on commitment, hard work and talent.

At the end of the year one participant will be named the 'Umberto Giannini PROJECTX Student of the Year' at the prestigious Fellowship Luncheon and Awards event held at the Dorchester in London.

Hair Oasis are celebrating Finalist success in the most prestigious hairdressing awards in the world the British Hairdressing Awards.

Stylists from the whole country are invited to submit 4 photographs which are judged by hairdressing's Elite chosen by Hairdressers Journal and sponsored by Schwarzkopf and only a handful are selected for the final position.

Hair Oasis reached the Finals at Basildon Business Awards '07 in two competitions Growing Business of the Year and Business Man of the Year categories.

John Masters Organic Products are being introduced into Hair Oasis as used by the Celebs, awarded the Best New Organic Non-Food product 2004.
